How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Hooply account and all associated data directly from the app:
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently deleted from our servers:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and Yahoo account identifier
- Yahoo OAuth tokens: Access and refresh tokens used to connect to Yahoo Fantasy Sports
- League data: All cached league, team, and roster information
- Analysis history: All AI-generated analysis results, trade evaluations, and roster insights
- Subscription records: Your subscription tier and status within our system
- Player data: Any player information associated with your account
What Data May Be Retained
In accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy, certain records may be retained after account deletion:
- Financial records: Invoice and payment records may be retained for up to 7 years following the applicable tax year, as required by Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.
- Legal obligations: Any data required to be retained by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
Deletion Timeline
Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. All personal data identified above is permanently removed from our active systems. Residual copies in automated backups may persist for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
